Training Services:

Giving yourself the benefit of learning the ins and outs of a beauty business is critical to clientele building, retention and satisfaction! You can never be TOO good at your job and setting yourself apart is not as difficult as you think once you’ve learned what clients are looking for! There are mentoring sources that are purely online with memberships that have great things to offer…I personally have always preferred in person hands on training as my medium for learning.

Hands on Training vs Zoom Training

The optimal way to learn how to be completely comfortable and confident touching your clients is to practice with an experienced professional at your side giving you guidance on technique and what to do, as well as what not to do! It’s important to learn how to make clients feel confidently comfortable, safe and relaxed in your care. This is foundational to building a clientele that will become loyally yours. The techniques you will learn can be expanded and modified once you get a sense of how to bring the ultimate comfort to your clients during a service. In person training can be at your place of business or at The Existential Estheticians spa environment and all trainings are by appointment only. Learning how to master confidence in your touch and your services is invaluable to your future career! I believe in person training provides the optimal environment for practicing, evaluation and observation. It’s been my experience that hands on training has benefits that a Zoom training does not. I’ve found Zoom to be very useful for classes with a subject matter but not so much for training in touching clients. Watching someone perform a technique is not as lasting an impression as having someone watch you do and then correct or guide as needed in that moment. Learn in real time with real help!

A Complete Client Experience

You can’t give a client what you don’t know how to do! And you cannot underestimate how important it is to do what you do well! There is so much to learn in this career, almost all of it is client centric and the better you are at taking care of clients, the bigger your successes will be. There is nothing like a client that not only is devoted to your services, but wants everyone they know to come see you too! Experience with your personal mentor at your side a complete client experience from beginning to end! There will detailed explanations of steps and reviews of current technique to help you learn elevated ways to give your client the most amazing facial or back treatment! A client experience begins the moment they walk in the door so it’s very important to work on having every aspect of their visit with you mapped out from the moment they arrive to checkout and rebooking! Planning, preparation and execution are all vitally important and can be the biggest difference that sets you apart! Your clients will know just how important they are to you and also know you went out of your way to make sure they enjoyed every minute in your care! Who doesn’t want that when they see a skin care professional!? Define, refine and deliver exceptional services for every client!

Client Consultations and Conversations

Speaking with clients in a professional manner is so important to establishing trust and confidence. This profession is very unique in how we interact with our clients. While we often hear intimate details of our clients lives and are appreciative and protective of the trust clients place in our discretion, it’s critically important to have firm professional boundaries. A consultation sets the tone for the professional relationship and must be thorough to be effective. This is a great time to let your clients know any important policies you have as well as ascertain information about your client. The importance of knowing certain information about a client before you ever touch them is the difference between success and potential problems. You will learn what to ask, how to establish your professional expertise, how to recommend the right services and products, how to communicate like a professional that has your client’s best interest at heart! Your conversations with your clients are both for the purposes of getting to know your clients better as well as how best to serve them. It’s important to always perform services within the professional boundaries of your license and to never let the client dictate how you perform your professional services. It’s your license on the line.

Communication is the most important preface to touching a client…it gives you vital information that prepares you to help you care for your client safely and effectively while also letting your client know what to expect…
